Hear him on this exclusive podcast as he talks with Cath Urquhart, The Times Travel Editor. Ken recounts tales of his time in the Special Forces as well as his incredible experiences in the TV series Beyond Boundaries and Mission Africa. The first series saw Ken leading an expedition of disabled people (one of whom was blind), across Nicaragua, from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean in a record breaking 300 km trek starting in the Mosquito Coast and ending one month later as a world first. Whilst in Ken's second project he took a group of young apprentice builders to Kenya to build an eco lodge and game reserve to protect the endangered species that lived there.
