Frank Lopardo, one of today's leading tenors internationally, returns to Lyric Opera of Chicago as Lensky in Tchaikovsky's masterpiece Eugene Onegin. The Lyric favorite discusses why he so loves this particular role (his tenth with the company); how he perfected his Russian diction; the philosophy that guides his acclaimed career; the joy of performing again with soprano Dina Kuznetsova (Tatyana, previously Gilda in Rigoletto opposite Lopardo at Lyric); and his special affection for this company.
