<title><![CDATA[ATC: Parish Nursing]]></title>

This week, another chance to hear a programme broadcast earlier in 2008  which recently won a Gold Award at the Christian Broadcasting Council Media Awards. In July, as the NHS celebrated its 6oth anniversary, the programme looked at a pioneering development in health care. Parish Nursing began in the United States in the mid 80’s but is relatively new to the UK. Defined as "whole person health care through the local church" it aims to integrate faith and health by looking after people holistically – body, mind and spirit.
