Power Outage!
Published: 2006-12-02 06:10:47I was a school, when the power went out! We were at recess (wqhich is at the end of the day for my grade) and when we came back in, the emergency lights were on. Apparently, the strong winds had knocked out a power line or a generator box (whatever you call those boxy things on the poles), thus creating an outage. It was out EVERYWHERE, so we spent a few hours in our house without power. When the power came back on, I recorded a podcast episode to post on the internet. But, our cable company hadn't hooked us back up (as in the guys at the ISP place hadn't turned on the internet). So, remember this was from YESTERDAY. Enjoy!
