when i was djing recently I made the terrible mistake of not ending on a grinder, a real dirty jam, the kids wanted it and i was not paying attention until the last song ended and a drunkels yelled out - "come on ! One booty song?!!!!!" It's gonna haunt me, I usually always end with something for the ones that just wanted a last chance to get it on. here's for those two. a dirty dirty mix. get your grind on.

So, off of the old school electro on this, I need to make these party mixes for a reel of different jams, this is all dancy jams, electro-y remixes, m.i.a., a little balt beat, a house remix here or there. i just hope you enjoy it and i'll get back to the old school after this.

SO, this isn't my usual electro eclectic. I made this party mix for my real muay thai boxing partner, it's her birthday and she loves the hits, a little old school, a little hilarious dance music and ending on the 2am drunk hits. hope you can just put it on at the party and dance!

dance. dance. electro. old school jams. music makes you lose CONtrol! dont stop the rock! kraftwerk. and a crazy booty bass song - come on shake those titties? i mean really? i would hate on this song, but then there's lines that just make it so redeemable in a weird way - for instance they say - "i dont care if you're part of the ittie bittie tittie committee - come on " and "just shake what you got" and "all the ladies who think they're pretty" i just get the overall feeling those guys love titties with no judgement, they are not elevating boob jobs, and i love that say "all the ladies that think they're pretty" - not "all the pretty ladies"...well, if it is going to be about body parts, at least the way things are said and phrased in this song make it a dance jam. only if they had said - "and all those guys on the floor - shake them titties" that would have been priceless.

Here's some crazy mixing of electro, indie, old school jams. M.I.A. LIPPS INc The instrumental dance version of COnga. King Kut. The dance remix of "Are Friends Electric?" all for you. sorry it's in mono, that's no fun. the crazy story behind this is that i have attempted to record it three times, the first was at the radio station where my show was only partially recorded, then at home I tried to perform the same set with my pal Lauren over and we had margaritas for her birthday -went downstairs to play music and record the set and i left a mic on during the recording, which is funny to me but more annoying to a listener. now there's this the last of three attempts. the mix is rough but whatev it's a jam.

Here's 30 minutes of jams. 2legit to quit, I'm BAD. The Wildstyle, weird ass technocity, some white label shit too -- but in the middle (19:20) is my favorite - The Stomp and Grind - cause we're gonna rock you. I'm gonna play this out more. I have been going through my record collection and just pulling stacks off the shelves, for many years I was able to play a lot of this at LA MAchine, where we would play old and new electro stuff. That night needs a come back for sure. Hope you like it! yeahhhhh.

here it is a left hook of old school breaks mixed with found lps like my favorite.... "thunder storms and steam engines" who woulda thought someone else out there wanted a whole lp of thunder sounds with steam engines....I LOVE VInyl!!! I mixed this for a live slide show in 2003, it's my favorite, kinda totally obscure, but give it time because it has a lot to give, there are some classic moments from "Wild Style" and my all time fav Phillip Glass. a pretty obscure peaches and gonzales 45. i think this one of my all time favorites. yeah. i went to art school ....whatev.
